This group was created to help the GIVE TEAM feed the more than 400 MILLION hungry children in the world. One Child DIES every FIVE SECONDS because of hunger.
In order for you to help us out, you must INSTALL THE APPLICATION below that coincides with this group.
Here is what the application does:
- once installed, every click is directed to Care2's Race For Children where the donations go toward sponsoring children in need for their food, medical attention and education.

After the difficulty getting confirmation on whether or not every click counted on hungersite, SaC creator Scott made the move to Care2. The new system is up and running and every click counts!! If you're receiving a "Thank You - You've Already Clicked Today" message, you probably have a Care2 account and would need to logoff while using the SaC application. Thanks so much for your patience and dedication!!

We would like the Spare a Click programs to have the widest possible exposure by each of us letting everyone on our friend list know about it. To make it easier for people to find it on your page and to encourage them to click it, you can drag your application up to a position closer to the top of your page or close to another application that gets a lot of exposure, like Fluff Friends.
We have noticed that the application does not always display correctly and would like to help out, as much as possible. If you notice that, after installation, your Spare a Click app is not displaying on your page, you can take steps to correct it. The instructions are listed in the Group Discussion notes.

Subject: BULLYING & HARRASSMENT - A practice that MUST be stopped IMMEDIATELY
We received notification from someone who was in our group that was very distressing.
Apparently, she was receiving harrassing messages from our members about her lack of clicking.
We want to STRESS that each member has the right to conduct their Spare a Click activity in whatever manner they choose.
Our members that are displaying the Spare a Click application on their pages have been trusting enough to accept you as friends. We insist that you treat them in a friendly manner.
1. They are giving you the opportunity to click on their icon, which triggers a donation for feeding hungry children.
2. Each member has different allotments of free time to devote to their priorities. If someone does not have the time to be as active as others, that is their right and no one in this group has the right to harrass them to reciprocate.
3. Accusations that they are contributing to furthering the plight of hungry children is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
4. If we identify and have proof of anyone who is harrassing fellow members about reciprocating clicks, we will not only block them, we will report them to Facebook for harrassment, which will result in the termination of their Facebook account.
5. Bullying & harrassment will NOT be tolerated within this group's members.
